Scout Internet Support necker. Ever since B.-P. wrote Scouting for Boys, Scouts have been wearing a

neckerchief or scarf 1

round their necks. The necker becomes part of the group’s identity. It has become an integral part of the identity of Scouts the world over. Nearly every association has them as part of their uniform.

As we are a new unit, we asked for suggestions for designs from our members. Eight designs were submitted and we held an online poll in our forum and the first vote ended in a tie with two designs having 43% of the vote each.

To decide between the two we had a run-off poll. The design illustrated was the clear winner with 67% of the vote.

The next choice for us is whether we will have a logo embroidered on the back or not. Anyone who has ideas for a logo for the unit can send them to the manager, Peter Davies, at manager@sisasu.org.uk.
